Leadership Plus is a Victorian community organisation and a project of Action for Community Living. We promote people with disabilities as leaders. Our focus is on civic participation and inclusion as citizens in Australian society.

MISSION
To develop leadership capacity and opportunities for people with disabilities
to drive change that raises the status of people with disabilities in society.
PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

The leadership we promote will cause societal change that enables people with
disabilities to participate _and be included.
· All people with disabilities who are, or wish to become leaders are
encouraged to take part in our _Initiatives,
regardless of disability type and geographic location. We will focus on the
leadership _potential of people with disabilities.
· Leadership Plus will, whenever possible, enlist, enhance, and promote
skills of people with disabilities, _as staff,
trainers, presenters and spokespersons.
· We are committed to leadership that operates at all levels of society,
and will promote people with _disabilities into
each of these levels. eg. The Public Service, Government, local communities,
and _business.
· We promote leaders with disabilities in the disability industry,
as well as other elements of the social _sector.
We are also committed to participation in business and environmental leadership.
· We will promote the diversity, worth and value of people with disabilities
to leaders across all sectors.
· We will not duplicate or reinvent Initiatives that are already functioning
well. We seek to work with all _elements of society
and wherever possible, in partnership with them.
THE OBJECTIVES
We foster leadership in people with disabilities. We do this by:
1. Engage
those people with a disability who are already leaders;
2. Develop the leadership potential of people with a disability;
3. Create leadership opportunities for leaders with a disability; and
4. Ensure the sustainability of Leadership Plus.
